About imageresizers.net

imageresizers.net is a free, in-browser tool for cropping and resizing images to the exact dimensions each social platform expects — plus a plain-English size reference for every network we cover. No signup, no uploads to a server, no watermarks.

Who runs it

The site is built and maintained by Pond Software, a small independent studio that makes focused web tools. We don’t outsource the writing or the specs — every page is put together and checked by the same person who builds the resizer.

Why it exists

Every platform publishes its own image requirements in its own place, and those numbers change quietly. Designing a banner or a thumbnail usually means hunting through help docs, guessing at a safe zone, and re-exporting three times. This site collapses that into one step: look up the size, then resize your image to it right here in the browser.

The resizer runs entirely on your device using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your computer — there is no upload step and nothing is stored.

How we keep the numbers right

The dimensions the resizer offers and the dimensions written on each guide come from the sameunderlying preset data, so the tool and the reference can’t drift apart. When a platform changes a spec, we update the preset once and every page that uses it updates with it.

We write from each platform’s official guidance and from testing real uploads. Where a platform doesn’t publish an exact figure, we say so rather than inventing one. If you spot a number that’s gone stale, we genuinely want to hear about it — tell us.

How the site is funded

imageresizers.net is free to use. It’s supported by advertising and by a handful of relevant affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). That funding never changes the sizes we publish or the advice we give.
